At Energetix, we believe that the health of the planet is directly linked to the health of each individual. Just as the body has systems for respiration, renewal and purification, so too does our beautiful planet. Whenever these systems are neglected or compromised, the health of each individual is affected.
Most of what we do day-by-day at Energetix relates to the health of the individual, but when it comes to philanthropic concerns, as a company, we turn our attention to the larger issues relating to the health of our planet. That is why we chose the World Land Trust. The World Land Trust (WLT) is an international conservation organization that takes direct action to save rainforest and other biologically important lands. Since its foundation in 1989, WLT has helped purchase and protect almost 1 million acres of tropical forests, coral reefs, coastal steppes and ancient woodlands. WLT includes local people and local partner organizations in every step of the process to create long-term sustainability for its projects.
Each year at our annual Lyceum, Energetix holds a silent auction to benefit the World Land Trust. All items in the auction are donated by Energetix and 100% of the proceeds from the auction are donated to the WLT. To-date, with your help, we have saved over 85 acres of threatened rainforest to help keep this high priority land from being lost forever.
