About Dr. McCombs

Ann McCombs, DO is a family physician practicing in Bellevue, Washington. Throughout her career, Dr. McCombs has been very active in creating and participating in holistic education for medical doctors, osteopathic and naturopathic physicians and other practitioners interested in discovering new ways to facilitate the healing process in health care and to diagnosing and treating disease in a unique and complementary way.

She was a co-founder in 1995 of the American Board of Holistic Medicine, known since 2008 as the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine. Part of her contribution to this organization involved assisting in the development of the curriculum and the testing process of the ABIHM exam and board certification process. This exam and certification allowed MD and DO candidates to become board certified in Holistic Medicine for the first time in December, 2000. As an educationally-based, holistic medical practitioner, Dr. McCombs is actively engaged in clinical practice, teaching and mentoring. She has lectured both nationally and internationally. Her unique approach, utilizing Non-Protocol Diagnosis and Treatment, puts her on the cutting edge of those physicians who assist clients on a daily basis to achieve optimal health and healing.
